Privacy Policy
How Perimetrr handles account, attendance, location and browser-pairing data.
Who handles your data
Contact Perimetrr at support@perimetrr.com for support or privacy enquiries. For workplace attendance, your employer normally determines why records are collected and who can access them; Perimetrr provides the processing service. Perimetrr also handles administrator account and service-security information for its own operations. The exact roles must be confirmed in your employer’s agreement.
Information used
- Administrator name, work email and account authentication information.
- Workspace name, office coordinates, attendance rules and optional branding.
- Staff names, departments, work policies and authorized administrator roles.
- A browser-generated credential used for pairing, device-transfer requests, attendance times, submitted location coordinates and verification outcomes.
- Schedules, queued attendance attempts, and technical request information processed by hosting and database providers.
Do not upload identity documents, health information, bank details or other sensitive information into staff names, departments, logos or support messages.
Location and browser storage
With browser permission, the open attendance app checks location to show Perimeter status. Coordinates are sent with attendance attempts for server verification. This is not a background route-tracking service. Browser credentials are not hardware identifiers and GPS can be inaccurate or spoofed. See the Cookie & Browser Storage Policy.
Purposes and lawful grounds
Information is used to provide accounts, staff pairing, schedules, attendance verification, reports, security and support. Account administration may be necessary for the service contract. Employers must establish and communicate an appropriate lawful ground for employee processing; employment consent may not be freely given. A browser permission prompt or acceptance of terms does not by itself establish that ground. Optional marketing must be separately opted into; no marketing signup is currently provided.
Providers and international transfers
The app uses Supabase for authentication and database services. The intended production host is Cloudflare Pages. Browser requests also load fonts or software from Google Fonts, jsDelivr and unpkg; these providers receive network request information such as IP address. No advertising pixels or third-party video/social embeds are included in this release. Provider locations, contractual safeguards and any overseas transfers must be assessed before real employee data is onboarded.
Retention and deletion
Browser pairing and preferences persist until removed or replaced; offline attempts remain until synchronized or cleared. Employer attendance records do not currently have an automatic expiry. Employers must agree a justified retention period rather than treating indefinite storage as the default. Account, workspace and backup deletion requests require verification and may be subject to legitimate legal retention duties. Do not use the beta for real personnel records until retention and deletion arrangements have been agreed.
Your choices and rights
You may request information, access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection where applicable, and withdraw any optional consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Start with your employer for attendance records. Revoking browser location permission prevents location-dependent checks; clearing storage can require an approved device transfer. You can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Other rights may apply in your country.
Contact and changes
